Paraprofessionals play an important role in the success of students and schools. This training will provide skills and strategies that will help paraprofessionals be successful.
Topics will include:
-Understanding Autism Spectrum Disorder
-Confidentiality in the classroom
-Behavior management
-Classroom supports in an inclusive environment
-Title I laws and strategies (bring device to complete assessment)
-General strategies and practices
-Mental health
-Google tips & tricks (bring device)
Presentations by:
District or agency teams of 10 or more will receive 15% off! (Discount will be manually applied by CESA 5.)
Please note, your district may possibly use Federal Grant (Flow Through, Title I, II, and possibly III) monies to offset the cost of this training.
Participants will receive a copy of the book, The Paraprofessional's Handbook for Effective Support in Inclusive Classrooms, and a certificate of completion from CESA 5 (after successful completion of the Title I Highly Qualified Assessment).
